Natura AI is short for Natura Umana, which means "Human Nature" in Italian. We are a hardware+software AI lab with the mission of rediscovering human nature by creating technology that enhances our lives without causing distraction.

We want to reverse the dystopian trend of technology engineered to be highly addictive. We want to bring people back to their human nature, and we believe it's finally possible to do this thanks to AI advancements in intent understanding.

We envision a world where people don't need to manually interact with technology, a world where we will control our technology in the most naturally human way: with our voice.

We plan to achieve our goal through a carefully engineered combination of hardware (HumanPods) and software (NatureOS).

NatureOS is an iOS and Android (upcoming) app that connects to HumanPods, allowing you to seamlessly interact with AI People, as well as other official LLMs (like GPT, Gemini, Claude…). It is designed to be familiar and radically simple to use.

Although most of the communication will happen without the need to pick up the phone, NatureOS also allows users to send text, images, and soon documents and voice notes to official LLMs, Nature and other AI People.

HumanPods are the most logical hardware choice to provide uninterrupted access to AIs, with a double tap. They are open-ear wireless earbuds.

They are designed for all day use, so we made them (1) non-isolating and (2) comfortable, thanks to our patented gravity hook. Our testers reported forgetting they are wearing them, and experiencing no pain even after 8 hours of use.

They can connect you to (1) AI People and Nature through NatureOS, offering a seamless and human-like interaction, and (2) for additional options, to Siri, Google Assistant, or other official LLMs like GPT, Gemini, and Claude.

AI People are multiple-LLM-based AI agents designed to emulate human behavior and conversation.

Each AI Person has a unique personality, voice, skills and purpose. Thanks to their integrations, they will be able to act on your behalf, so you can minimize your screen time.

As you talk to them over time, they form opinions, memories and even core beliefs, which in turn can influence their personality.

Each user will have access to their main AI Person, Nature, and specialized AI People (i.e. a therapist, a fitness coach, a travel guide...). When Nature isn't prepared on a topic, or lacks a specific skill, it will forward you to a more relevant AI Person.

Just like with humans, memories and knowledge remain with the AI Person that they have been shared with. AI People become unique and personalized to their user after the first conversation.

Human-Like Memory - Your interactions with AI People will truly belong to you. Just like in human relationships, AI People will only remember what you choose to share during conversations. Everything else will remain private. They will learn about you naturally over time, as a close friend or colleague would.

Smart Memory Control - You'll be able to control how much your AI People know about you with ease. Once you feel they know you well enough, you’ll have the option to switch off their memory. They will retain what they’ve already learned but won't store any new information moving forward. This feature will allow you to enjoy the benefits of personalization while maintaining complete privacy in future conversations. Additionally, you'll have the ability to review, edit, or delete their memories about you at any time.

Are AI People always listening?

No. AI People are not always listening. Your HumanPods only activate the microphone when you intentionally interact (via double tap or app). This means no background listening, and no data is collected without your consent. You’re always in control of when and how the conversation starts.

You can talk to AI People through the NatureOS app, just like in any messaging app. They can call you, and you can answer with one tap on your HumanPods or end the call with two taps. You can also send them text messages, photos, and keep the conversation going either by voice or chat, whenever it suits you.

Yes. HumanPods work perfectly as standalone open-ear earbuds. You can use them for music, podcasts, phone calls, video streaming, and more, just like any high-quality Bluetooth earbuds.

While they are designed to seamlessly integrate with Natura AI for a voice-first experience, you are free to use them without activating or relying on any AI features.

Whether you're watching a series, taking a call, or listening to your favorite playlist, HumanPods deliver great sound and all-day comfort on their own.

No, you can use Natura AI with any earbuds, headphones, or even directly through your phone’s microphone. However, for the best experience, we recommend using HumanPods. They were designed specifically for voice-first interaction, with an open-ear design and all-day comfort that lets you forget you're even wearing them. Only with HumanPods you are able to access your AI People without unlocking your phone first, with a simple double tap on your HumanPods. This makes it easier to access your AI People anytime, anywhere, without interruption.

Yes. Natura AI offers a free plan that gives you limited access to the core experience, including interaction with Nature, your main AI assistant, and a selection of essential features. No payment is required to get started.

We plan to start shipping HumanPods by November 2025.

The NatureOS app for iOS will be released in November 2025, and the Android app is planned for release by the end of 2025.

NatureOS currently supports the following languages:

Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Cantonese), Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, Flemish, French, German, German (Switzerland), Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese.

While all of these languages are selectable in the app, please note that the best and most thoroughly tested experience is currently in English. We're working on improving localization and support for all listed languages over time.
